Armada Mail
Every employee gets its own email address when it is hired, whatever email your company uses (Google, Microsoft or anything else).
Addresses look like echo.northwind@<Armada mail domain>: the employee, then your company's handle. Owners and admins can change the handle in Company, Email; old addresses stop working when it changes.
Employees send with the send_email tool, from their own address, under their name, signature and AI note (see Identity). It is outside email, so it follows the same trust levels and approval rules as any other outside message. An employee writing on a person's behalf does not use it: it sends from that person's own mailbox instead.
Mail sent to an employee's address becomes its work through intake, already routed to that employee. Replies join the existing conversation. Every message, sent or received, shows in the mailbox in Settings, Email.
Add a domain such as ai.yourcompany.com and publish the DNS records shown. Once verified, employees send from echo@ai.yourcompany.com, and can receive there too if you point the domain's mail to Armada. Use a subdomain so your people's email is untouched.
Until Armada's mail domain is set up, nothing leaves Armada: sent mail is kept in the mailbox, and you can simulate incoming mail and domain checks to try the whole flow.
Incoming mail is accepted only with a valid signature from the mail provider, and each message is processed once. Content is screened at intake like any other inbound message.
Sending and receiving run through Resend, which uses Amazon's email service behind the scenes; that is why some DNS records mention amazonses.com.
